Fort Wayne police release photos of robbery suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

At about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, a woman walked into the Salin Bank at 6533 E. State Blvd., demanded cash and got away with the money, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.

Police say she is 5 feet 6 inches tall and has blonde hair. She was wearing a black hoodie and black scarf during the robbery. Police found a black scarf at the scene. A K9 used that to track her scent to a getaway location. They believe she drove north. There is currently no description of the car.

There were people inside the bank at the time of the robbery. Police say a weapon was never displayed.
