HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A woman is dead after a car accident on 224 yesterday morning. 77-year-old Barbara Eberhart, of Peru, was exiting I69 when she failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a semi. She was declared dead at the scene. According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, the driver of the semi, Patrick Myers, of Kankakee, Illinois, was uninjured. The investigation is ongoing.
