FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Around 11:30 Saturday night, the Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of an apartment fire on Hillside Avenue. Once on the scene, crews found smoke coming from the upstairs apartment, and fire in the bathroom which was quickly extinguished. There were 11 people in the apartment complex at the time of the fire, but all exited before crews arrived. One adult was taken to the hospital. The fire was under control in 20 minutes, and the cause remains under investigation.
