$1.2 Billion More in Personal Income Circulating Northeast Indiana

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis has released 2012 per capita personal income numbers, and it shows that there is now $1.2 billion more in personal income circulating in Northeast Indiana’s economy than there was last year. The region is also outpacing the nation in growth, demonstrating a 5% rate versus the national rate of 3.4%. In 2009, per capita income in Northeast Indiana was 79% of that for the nation, and today, we’re at 81.2%.
