FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police were called to the 5000 block of Avondale Drive after reports of gunfire in the area.  According to our news partners at 21 Alive, police responded around 4 a.m., and discovered a man who had been shot in the leg outside of Hard Hitters Bar.

According to officials, the shooting happened after people were leaving a party at the bar.  Witnesses reported the gunfire to police.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was last reported in serious condition.
