SYRACUSE, Ind. (WOWO): We are under a winter weather advisory, until 10  a.m.Thursday.

The advisory covers  Allen, Adams, Blackford, DeKalb, Grant, Noble, LaGrange, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, Steuben, Wells and Whitley counties in Indiana as well as, Defiance, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert Williams counties in Ohio.,

The National Weather Service says an artic storm front will bring with it quick dropping snow of one to two inches in short periods. Strong winds will bring significant blowing and drifting, especially in rural areas and bitter wind chills dipping well below zero.

Northern Indiana is expected to get two  to four inches. Southern Michigan could see as much as four to seven inches.
