Reports of a “Suspicious Item” Lead Police to Meth Related Items

AUBURN, Ind. (WOWO): Tuesday afternoon, officers with the Auburn Police Department got a call about a suspicious item on Sportt Street.

 

Once officers arrived on the scene, they were told that a plastic garbage bag was found in the parking lot and the bag was giving off a strong chemical odor. While inspecting the bag, officers found items commonly associated with the production and use of methamphetamine. The items in the bag included,

Coleman Fuel, coffee filters, stripped lithium batteries, plastic tubing, small bags containing white residue, and used syringes with blood residue.  All the items were disposed of so far, no suspects have been located at this time.
