FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Fort Wayne fire crews were able to contain a blaze south of downtown.

It started around 2:25 a.m. Saturday morning at 605 Kinnaird Ave.  The rear of the first floor of a large three story house was on fire.  Crews contained the fire to just the first floor. 

The house sustained moderate fire and water damage, along with heavy smoke damage.  No one was home at the time.
