Peanuts Bar Suspect Found And Arrested

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Fort Wayne Gang and Violet Crimes Unit credits the community in the arrested of a man connected to a March 30th shooting. 


At 4:46 p.m. Saturday, Demanuel Tompkins was arrested on charges of battery and criminal gang activity.  He was taken into custody without incident after detectives received a tip of his location.  

Tompkins was found at 2727 Stardale Drive, Apartment 1 on Fort Wayne's south west side.  The shooting originally occurred inside the Peanuts Food and Spirits.

On April 4th, police arrested Adonis Robinson and Christopher Sewell in connection with the same shooting on March 30th.
