FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department have arrested a minor following the investigation of a garage fire Monday morning.

According to officials with the Fort Wayne Fire Department, the fire broke out at 2902 Barr Street at 10:18 a.m., Monday. Once crews arrived on the scene, they found a detached garage fully engulfed in flames.

Crews quickly extinguished the blaze and four neighboring structures did sustain some heat damage, but no injuries were reported.

Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set. Witnesses were able to describe a suspicious person in the area, which led to the arrest of the minor. The case is being processed through the Allen County Juvenile Center.
