FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man is in fair condition after a moped crash Thursday afternoon.

At 2:55 p.m., police responded to Avondale Drive near Pettit Avenue on report of an accident involving a scooter.  Once on the scene, officers found a man who had crashed after losing control.  He was taken to the hospital in serious condition and later upgraded to fair condition.

The scooter involved in this accident was reported stolen out of Allen County in November 2012.
