FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An early morning shooting on Chaddsford Drive has left one man in critical condition.  According to Fort Wayne police, shots were fired around 9:00 a.m., Friday. Once officers arrived on the scene they found the victim down inside the residence suffering from multiple gunshots.

He was taken to a local hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition.  

According to police, the victim was answering a knock at his door when he was shot by a black man, who was last seen leaving the area in a black SUV.

A motive for this shooting has yet to be determined, but police are still investigating.
