Beasley Day in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):Friday is DaMarcus Beasley Day in Fort Wayne.

Beasley is fresh off an appearance with the U.S. Soccer team in the World Cup tournament in Brazil.

Mayor Tom Henry will make the designation this morning in a small ceremony at Citizens Square. Beasley is a Fort Wayne native and attended South Side High School.

Later this afternoon he'll meet with campers at his soccer camp, the DaMarcus Beasley National Soccer camp at the Plex.

 He's the only US player to play in four World Cups.
