No Injuries in Early-Morning Fire on Fairfield

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne fire crews fought an early-morning blaze at a home on Fairfield Ave. on the City's southwest side. Firefighters were called at 2:02 A.M. Friday to the scene where they found fire from the roof. The two people inside had already gotten out, and no other injuries were reported. The fire was on the second floor and in the attic area. Crews got the blaze under control in less than 20 minutes. The home had moderate fire damage and heavy water and smoke damage. Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
