FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Over 200 recently installed water meters in Fort Wayne are having problems sending out readings.
This glitch doesn't mean the meter is not fully working. City officials say it has to do with how utility employees obtain the readings wirelessly. According to the Journal Gazette, the issue affects former Aqua Indiana customers. Of the 5,000 meters installed on the city's northwest side, 209 customers are not connected properly.
To get a replacement unit, customers will need to call Vanguard Utility Service and schedule an appointment.
