The U.S. Department of Food Safety says the affected packages of 3.4-ounce theater boxes of M&M's are labeled incorrectly. The boxes say they are plain milk chocolate. However, the M&M's contain peanut butter on the inside, instead of milk chocolate.
Consumers who bought one of the recalled items and have allergy concerns can return them to the store where they bought them for a full refund.
