Teen Robbed of Cell Phone

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a 15-year-old of his cell phone at knife point.

Around 6:30 Thursday, the teen was walking near a bus stop at Paulding and Hanna Streets. That's when someone approached him from behind, grabbed his arm and put a knife to his neck.

The suspect then threatened the teen and demanded him to empty his pockets and a bag he was carrying. The bandit took his cell phone and ran to the south toward Burns Boulevard.

During the incident, the victim suffered a minor cut to the right thumb.


According to the police report, the suspect is described as a 17-to-18 year-old, black teen boy with a skinny build. He was wearing Nike Shoes and a dark Nike Sweater.
