FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): The executive director of the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation will visit Fort Wayne next month to talk about the role of community foundations in local leadership projects.
The presentation by Kristi Knous is scheduled from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 14 at Sweetwater Sound, 5501 U.S. 30 W., Fort Wayne.
Announced Tuesday, the presentation is jointly sponsored by Greater Fort Wayne Inc. and the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne.
Nearly 40 Fort Wayne community members traveled to Des Moines in October on a trip arranged by Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Those who attended met Knous, who discussed the role of the Des Moines Community Foundation in projects serving that area.
