HOWE, Ind. (WOWO): Police in LaGrange County are investigating a motel fire at the Howe Travel Inn

The fire was reported yesterday at the motel, after a customer smelled smoke from a nearby room. During the investigation, police discovered nearly 3 grams of meth from the room and instruments used to produce meth.

So far, police have taken two suspects into questioning. Those two suspects rented the room and fled prior to police arriving on the scene.

Charges are pending.
