Police Arrest Minors in LaGrange Party

TOPEKA, Ind. (WOWO): Nearly a dozen people were arrested over the weekend after police busted an underage drinking party in LaGrange County


Just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning, police uncovered the party on County Road West 800 South near Topeka. They also found several people intoxicated and alcoholic containers scattered nearby. 


Eight of the unidentified suspects were charged with minor in possession of alcohol. They were later released to their parents.

Two others under 21 years old, Dylan Wiseman of LaGrange and Patrick Stahl of Topeka were also arrested for minor in possession. Stahl also faces possession of paraphernalia.

The tenant, Harold Hartzell of Topeka, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.


Officers from the the LaGrange Sheriff Department and Shipshewana and Topeka Police Departments assisted in the investigation.
