FORT WAYNE, Ind, (WOWO):  Tuition at IPFW will jump with the next budget cycle.

The university announced the 1.65% boost will increase each credit hour by about $5 for Indiana residents and $10 for out of state students.

The  university says an extra 5% increase will be charged for courses in departments like business, computer sciences, engineering and nursing.

They say the extra funds are meant to make up for the increased resource demands as part of nationally accredited professional programs.
