HIP 2.0 Set For New Round Of Ads

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Another state push to enroll Hoosiers in the state's Medicaid alternative is set to launch next week.

The Healthy Indiana Plan 2.0 plan is said to have enrolled 177,000 new people since February 1st. The Journal Gazette reports a $2 million advertising campaign is expected to help them reach their goal of 357,000 enrollees by the end of the year.

In all, another 110,000 people in existing state programs were moved into the revamped HIP program, bringing the total to roughly 283,000.
