Bluffton Teen To Be Tried As Adult in Toddler’s Death

BLUFFTON, Ind. (WOWO): A 16 year old Bluffton teen who is accused of killing 3 year old Owen Collins will be tried as an adult.

That decision came down Thursday in Wells County Circuit Court for Zachary Barker.

Barker is accused of multiple charges, including using methamphetamines while living with 31 year old Zachary Barnes and 21 year old Breanna Arnold. According to the Journal-Gazette, he's also accused of helping dispose of Owen Collins' body in the woods after the killing.

Barker, who is being held on $100,000 bond in Wells County Jail, is expected to be formally charged as an adult on Monday.

Barnes has already pleaded guilty to murder. Arnold is facing neglect charges.
