FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A major donation for the Children's Zoo and area students will benefit. Indiana Michigan Power has presented a $75,000 gift from the AEP Foundation to the park.

The money will go toward renovating a classroom in the zoo's Jungle Lab. The classroom is part of educational outreachs through the Indonesian Rain Forest.

Work will take place during the off-season. About 35,000 students participate in education programs at the zoo.
