Former Indiana Senator Becoming a Knight

Indianapolis, Ind. (AP) _Former Indiana Senator Richard Lugar is becoming a knight. On orders from the Queen of England, the Republican who left the U.S. Senate earlier this year is receiving the rank of honorary Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. But he won’t be able to use the title “sir.” That’s reserved for royal subjects.
