Two Arrested and a Woman Hospitalized after Police Chase

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Two men are arrested and a woman is hospitalized in Fort Wayne after a dramatic police chase in Syracuse.

It began as police tried to stop a speeding vehicle, but the driver refused, leading officers on a chase. The suspect drove several blocks, then through a field and crashed into some trees. Two men then took off running, leaving behind a Buchanan woman, unconscious, in the back seat.

Police eventually caught the men. 25 year-old Lyle Miller of Syracuse was arrested near his home. 40-year-old Donald Combs was found hiding inside a closet at an apartment.  The woman found in the backseat was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.
