INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Indiana's senators are supporting the President's decision to seek approval from Congress before military actions against Syria. But, some say the President has exhibited poor leadership in the crisis.
Joe Donnelly, Indiana's Democrat senator, says he is reviewing all options and he is ending his summer recess early and to return to Washington.
Republicans aren't so careful in their comments. Senator Dan Coats (R), told the Indianapolis Star he was seeking input of Hoosiers. Coats did say the President is left without good options after drawing a line in the sand.
Third District Representative Marlin Stutzman (R), says he's “deeply skeptical of American military involvement.” Adding, the President has no clear strategy or objective on Syria if military action is ordered.
