MUNCIE, Ind. (AP): Ball State University is moving ahead with plans to spray herbicides on the lawns around its K-12 school despite objections from parents worried it will expose their children to chemical toxins. The parents concerned about spraying weed-killer around Burris Laboratory School include Dave Ring, who owns a Muncie organic grocery. He tells The Star Press he wants to reduce his children's long-term exposure to chemicals.
