Indianapolis Hospital Disrupted as Package Checked

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Several hundred patients and workers have been evacuated from parts of a veterans hospital in Indianapolis as emergency crews check out a suspicious package.

The package was reported Friday morning at the Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center near the city's downtown. Some patients wrapped themselves in blankets as they stood outside on the cool morning, while authorities said other people were moved to parts of the hospital away from where the package was found.

Details about the package weren't immediately released.
