Chairman Berry Comments on Ritz’s State Board of Education Meeting Walk Out

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Wednesday afternoon, Indiana Republican Party Chairman Tim Berry issued the following statement regarding Superintendent Glenda Ritz's decision to walk out of a State Board of Education meeting:

“Superintendent Glenda Ritz's assertion that she will put Indiana kids first continues to ring hollow. In the course of one day, she managed to walk out of a State Board of Education meeting AND cancel an event with local educators, all while leaving time for a press conference and a political event.  We've seen the walk out strategy before, but walking out on Indiana children takes it to a new low.”
