INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – The White House's top Asian carp expert will join wildlife officials at a forum Tuesday detailing the nation's ongoing efforts to prevent the destructive fish from entering the Great Lakes.

Tuesday's meeting in Indianapolis hosted by the Indiana Wildlife Federation will focus on efforts to keep Asian carp and other aquatic invasive species out of the Great Lakes.

Organizers say Eagle Marsh near Fort Wayne is the second-most likely pathway for Asian Carp to enter the lakes.

The head of the White House Council on Environmental Quality's Asian carp program, John Goss, will be among Tuesday's speakers.

A draft plan will be presented for closing the connection between the Wabash River and the Great Lakes, along with information on the location of Asian Carp in Indiana's rivers.
