INDIANAPOLIS (AP): A hearing on charges that former Indiana state schools superintendent Tony Bennett used state resources in his failed 2012 re-election bid has been pushed back until August.
 
       The State Ethics Commission had been scheduled to consider Bennett's case in May, but announced Monday the hearing was being delayed by three months.
 
       A commission filing says state Inspector General David Thomas provided more than 100 pages of evidence to Bennett's defense lawyers. Bennett's lawyers said they need more time to review the documents.
 
       Thomas filed the ethics charges against Bennett in November, shortly after The Associated Press reported that campaign fundraising lists and other campaign materials had been discovered on Bennett's Statehouse computers.
 
       Bennett resigned his position as Florida's schools chief last August in the wake of an Indiana grade-changing scandal.
