Central Indiana boy killed in ATV-motorcycle crash

COLUMBUS, Ind. (AP): Police say a central Indiana boy was killed when he drove an all-terrain vehicle onto a county road and was hit by a motorcyclist.

Bartholomew County sheriff's Lt. Kraig Weisner says 11-year-old Cameron Briot was driving the four-wheeler in a field before the crash happened Thursday evening just west of Columbus.

Weisner tells The Republic (http://bit.ly/1nvb2bx ) the boy drove from the field into the path of the motorcycle driven by 45-year-old Brian Snyder of Columbus. He says Snyder was taken to an Indianapolis hospital in serious condition.
