Teen Hospitalized After Being Struck by ATV

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A 16-year-old Williams teen was hospitalized after being hit by an ATV. Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the accident that happened Saturday night. Just after 9:30 P.M., officers were called to the scene where a teen had been hit by an ATV. Witnesses said 15-year-old Neil Amstutz, of Williams, was operating an ATV when he accidentally struck 16-year-old William Riley, who had been running in a parking lot adjacent to the road. Riley was knocked to the ground as the ATV ran over him, causing him to suffer a seizure. Riley was taken by ambulance to IU Health in Bloomington and then airlifted to Riley Children's Hospital.
