Officer Leaves Gun Inside Indiana School Restroom

KOUTS, Ind. (AP): Officials say a police officer left his loaded handgun behind in a staff restroom of a rural northwestern Indiana school. East Porter County Schools superintendent Rod Gardin says the school resource officer removed the gun while using the restroom and didn't retrieve it before responding to an emergency text message.
