Two Kentucky Teens Rescued from Indiana State Forest

CORYDON, Ind. (AP): Two teenagers from Kentucky are safe after they became lost in a southern Indiana state forest.

Indiana Conservation Officers say the 13- and 15-year-old boys from Owensboro, Kentucky, were hiking in Harrison-Crawford State Forest near Corydon when they became disoriented shortly after dark Wednesday.

Conservation Officer Jim Hash says the boys weren't familiar with the trails in the state forest about 25 miles west of Louisville, Kentucky.

Hash says the boys used a cellphone to call for help. Conservation officers and park workers used ATVs to cross the rugged terrain to reach the boys, who weren't hurt.
