EDON, Oh. (WOWO): A single engine plane crash in Williams County, Ohio is being investigated.

It happened about two and a half miles southeast of Edon, Ohio. 46 year old Samuel Santa-Rita of Edon was taking off from a private airfield when the plane turned to the left and crashed into a wooded area. Santa-Rita was the only person in the plane at the time, and only had minor injuries.

The FAA branch in Columbus, Ohio plans to further investigate the crash.
