MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) _ A bicyclist riding on a Muncie trail was fatally hit by a car while trying to cross a road

Delaware County sheriff's investigator David Spence says the bicyclist appears to have pulled out in front of the car from the Cardinal Greenway just north of Muncie. The driver wasn't hurt in the Sunday afternoon crash.

Deputy county coroner Clarence Brooks tells The Star Press (http://tspne.ws/1lL1Qmq) that the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's identity wasn't immediately released.
