MARION COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): An inmate was found dead inside the Marion County Jail.

29-year-old Marshal Carman, was discovered in his cell sometime on Wednesday, according to spokeswoman Katie Carlson with the Marion County Sheriff‘s Office. Carlson did not say what time Carman was found, and she says a cause of death has not been determined.

Carmen had been in jail since his arrest for theft on September 19. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police and the Marion County Coroner‘s Office are helping with the investigation.
