INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Gov. Mike Pence is dressing up as a beekeeper and his wife as a honey bee as they hand out candy to Halloween trick-or-treaters at the Indiana governor's residence.

The governor's office says Mike and Karen Pence will be joined by “Garfield'' cartoonist and Indiana native Jim Davis and Garfield the cat for the Halloween activities Friday evening.

They are scheduled to be greeting trick-or-treaters from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the governor's residence along Meridian Street on the north side of Indianapolis.
