Inmate Living in Kokomo 22 Years After Escaping Prison

KOKOMO, Ind. (WOWO): An Ohio inmate who escaped from prison 22 years ago has been found in Kokomo.

According to our Partners in News at 21Alive, 71-year-old Roger Perdue had been living in Kokomo under an assumed name by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

Perdue was supposed to serve a 5 1/2 year sentence for grand theft at the London Correctional Facility in Ohio. He taken into custody and is being held at a local jail until he can be transferred back to Ohio.
