Carmike Theater Evacuates after Concession Stand Fire

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Carmike Theater in the Jefferson Pointe shopping plaza on the southwest side of Fort Wayne was evacuated last night after a fire in the concession stand.

The flames began behind the counter from some type of hot food maker or popcorn machine. No injuries were reported and theater officials haven't released the extent of damage to the theater.

The theater is open today for normal business hours.
