Albers Pleads Guilty to Murder And Burning of New Haven Woman

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A suspect in the murder, rape, and burning of a New Haven woman last year has pleaded guilty.

20 year old Quinn Albers pleaded guilty to murder and abuse of a corpse charges Thursday. 

Albers killed 30 year old Katherine Gick of New Haven at Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery on Lake Avenue in October of last year. Gick's body was found burned with various items placed on it. 

Rape and a second murder charge were dropped for Albers, who is facing over 67 years in prison when he is formally sentenced on September 25th.
