FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mayor Tom Henry, City Councilman Glynn Hines and other local leaders will celebrate the expansion of a South side fast food restaurant.

They'll be part of McDonald's ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday at 11 a.m.  The store is located that the corner of South Anthony and U.S. 27. That's across from Southtown Crossing.

The store is fresh off an expansion of their drive-thru.  Franchisee Ted Williams says it provides more efficient service.

The store has been open since 2007, Williams says he'll continue to support and invest in Fort Wayne's South east side.
