FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne business has made a donation that will help a local college offer diesel heavy truck courses. 

Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne will offer three courses beginning in Janury, thanks to the gift of a semi-truck with a Detroit diesel engine from JAT of Fort Wayne. JAT will also be donating additional supplies such as engines and transmissions.

 Students will learn preventative maintenance, brake systems, and more as part of Ivy Tech's two-year Automotive Technology program.
