Record Attendance at Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Over 500,000 people visited the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo this year. According to the Journal Gazette, those numbers are the third highest on record.

The Halloween celebration drew in almost 25,000 guests on its own. The zoo is still working on renovations to the Australian Adventure Exhibit, as well as the stingray tank at the zoo's Great Barrier Reef.  The zoo hopes to have both renovations finished sometime next year.
