FORT WAYNE, Ind.(WOWO): The Allen County Democratic party has scheduled a caucus to pick a interim successor for recently resigned City Clerk Sandy Kennedy.

Kennedy stepped down this week citing health concerns, amidst allegations of violation election law. The caucus is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8, just days after the general municipal election.

Democrat Angie Davis is running against Republican Lana Kessling in the general election.

The vote is restricted to Democrat Precinct Committee members.
