ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Two people were killed in an overnight crash on a toll road in Elkhart County last night.

According to the Indiana State Police, a 2001 Buick sedan was headed eastbound when it ran off the road near the Elkhart and St. Joseph County Line, hit a guardrail, and flipped over several times at around 10:30pm. The collision killed the driver, 59-year-old Linda Pohto, and 88-year-old passenger Viola Pohto, both of Fairpoint Harbor, Ohio. Another passenger, 31-year-old Eric Pohto of Denver, Colorado, was severely hurt but is expected to recover. 

Police think the driver fell asleep shortly before the crash.
