Company Expands to Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Governor Mike Pence is celebrating hundreds of new jobs in the state.

Some of those jobs are in Fort Wayne. MorphoTrust USA says it will spend more than $6 million to expand to a facility on East Coliseum Boulevard. They'll also add 20 new jobs by 2019.

The company is working on the next wave of technology for drivers licenses and ID cards.

Thursday, 17 companies announced expansion plans, in all it brings 650 new jobs to seven Indiana counties.

Economic development officials say the average wage is more than $82,000 a year.
