Karen Francisco from the Journal-Gazette joined Charly Butcher on “Fort Wayne’s Morning News” to talk about what is coming up this weekend in the paper.  For Sunday, the Journal-Gazette has an editorial supporting improvements in Indiana child protection services. A lawsuit alleging case workers were carrying too many cases was dismissed on other grounds this month, but it does appear that things are finally getting better at the Department of Child Services.

They also have an interesting piece by the assistant director of Citilink about the role of public transportation in supporting social change. It describes some interesting history about how and why the first African American bus driver was hired in Fort Wayne in 1955.
